Our new Music Posters!
Our latest family of music prints harks back in its style to an age of cool and stylish cinema using tunes that themselves are both evocative and memorable, as well as standing the test of time.
Our inspiration for design was the chic films of the Nouvelle Vague (New Wave) French cinema which emerged from the late 50s through to late 60s and built the reputations of filmmakers such as François Truffaut, Agnés Varda and Jean-Luc Godard.

Our posters reflect well known songs and lines from songs of all ers but echo the design style of the Nouvelle Vague era including the posters for the films themselves.

The book cover effect reflects the creative style of many pulp publications of the Nouvelle Vague era, in which the song titles work as a suggestion of a book title in their own right.

We'll be adding more titles to our 'Thrillers' collection, so keep your eyes peeled!
Interestingly for you music fans, the initial spark point for these creations was the French band Nouvelle Vague, who created a series of cover versions in a Bossa Nova style of english New Wave songs (see what they did there) from bands such as The Cure, Joy Division, Depeche Mode and many others. That's what a random song in a random bar can instigate!
