Collection: Rowana Mallett

South Island Art, by London-based artist Rowana Sharmalee, specialises in
destination-themed art that captures your stories and memories. A childhood spent living
in different countries in South-East Asia fueled a desire to travel and record those
experiences in art.

Her work is predominantly inspired by travel and nature. Through a mix of digital drawing,
acrylic and emulsion, she explores how shape and colour can be used to evoke the feel of
a particular place at a special moment in time.
