A Map for Charity

On the 2nd May we (Don & Sarah - owners of The Northern Line) were due to take part in our annual charity walk for St Mary's Hospice - The Keswick to Barrow. Sadly like all such events, this years walk has been postponed, meaning that much needed funds generated from sponsorship have been lost. 

You may not know, but hospices rely heavily on sales from their own charity shops along with fundraising generated from events to provide over 80% of their running costs, with less than 20% being funded by the NHS. So these are truly challenging times for all hospices.

We'd like to try and help St Mary's, and this is where we are hoping you can help.

At a time when we can't visit our favourite places in The Lake District, we hope that our illustrated Lake District map will give you some pleasure and remind you of happy times in your favourite places.

We are printing an initial 50 copies and are donating ALL PROFITS from each sale between now and the end of April to the hospice. We are hoping that we can raise at least £500 (and fingers crossed....a lot more!) for St Mary's. 

Please do help us if you can. We appreciate that these are tough and uncertain times for everyone, including ourselves as a very small business, but if we can all pull together we can achieve some great things.
